FFNM Past Virtual Workshop: What you need to know about the Healthy Workplaces Act This workshop will cover all aspects of New Mexico’s paid sick leave law. The Healthy Workplaces Act (HWA) takes effect on July 1, 2022 and will require employers to provide employees working in the state – including part-time, seasonal or temporary workers — at least one hour of earned sick leave for every 30 hours worked, up to a maximum of 64 leave hours per year.
