Having a reputation in the community for being a family friendly employer helps us to attract talent to our organization. It also helps us compete with other employers and thus retain our employees. We have had employees leave our organization only to come back within months after realizing that we are an employer who provides excellence in care and service for our patients and our employees. Our employees can't focus on the needs of their patients if they are concerned about their own families. Having family friendly policies helps our employees to have comfort in their employment.
