NEW Federal Protections for Pregnant and Breastfeeding Employees
This virtual workshop will provide an overview of the new federal protections for pregnant and breast/chestfeeding employees. The session will explore the legal rights of employees who are pregnant or lactating, and the obligations of employers to accommodate their needs.
The workshop will cover the following topics:
- Overview of the new federal protections for pregnant and breast/chestfeeding employees
- The legal rights of pregnant and breastfeeding employees
- The types of accommodations that employers may be required to provide
- Best practices for employers to ensure compliance with the new federal protections
- Case studies and examples of successful accommodations for pregnant and breast/chestfeeding employees
This workshop is ideal for HR professionals, managers, supervisors, and anyone who works with or employs pregnant or breastfeeding individuals.
Learning objectives:
- Understand the new federal protections for pregnant and breast/chestfeeding employees, and how they affect both employers and employees.
- Identify the legal rights of pregnant and breast/chestfeeding employees, and the obligations of employers to accommodate their needs.
