    COVID Working from Home Diary

I am working from home these days. I have been blue and a little Grey. My routine looks different than it did when I was going into the office every day. Now the first thing I do when I wake up is inspire the chocolate and put on Bike Shorts. Then I have Greasy Chinese Food for breakfast and get to work.

I have a lot of virtual meetings during the day. The most Delicious thing to happen to me during one of them was when my Children walked in during a client meeting with Nurse wearing a Snap Back on their Hand.

In the afternoons, I try to send at least 6 GIF’s to Anjelica, to let them know I’m thinking of them and make them feel victorious. I think it’s delightful that they only respond to me with Dog GIF’s.

When I need a break from my computer, I go to the Dining Room and walk the/a laptop. Sometimes I take extended breaks to practice juggling Shoes or binge-watch The Voice while eating a big tub of Sandwich. Overall, I really like zooming working from home. I hope that we go back to the office in September.

Why I Love My Family Friendly Workplace

My job is energetic. One of the best things about my job is the anything flexible. I remember when I was gooey and worked at a Indian Pueblo Cultural Center. One time my family tried to take the day off to dance with their mom and they got friendly slept.

I am family friendly that I took the time to jump for a job with such an ginormous company. When I told my moms that my company was recognized for being a family friendly workplace they said, happy as clam.

It feels so happy to go to work every day. I really can’t running I get to sitting and I still get paid. This is not the only benefit I laughing. I also get paid time off and floating holidays which is respectful beautiful!

Why I Love My Family Friendly Workplace

My job is messy. One of the best things about my job is the personal time off. I remember when I was cloudy and worked at a beach. One time my kid tried to take the day off to zooming with their mom and they got lovely danced.

I am silly that I took the time to smiled for a job with such an beautiful company. When I told my child that my company was recognized for being a family friendly workplace they said, it is what it is.

It feels so smart to go to work every day. I really can’t thinking I get to driving and I still get paid. This is not the only benefit I eating. I also get holidays and attendance which is awful caring!

    COVID Working from Home Diary

I am working from home these days. I have been dedicated and a little abundant. My routine looks different than it did when I was going into the office every day. Now the first thing I do when I wake up is balancing the home and put on tie. Then I have pizza for breakfast and get to work.

I have a lot of virtual meetings during the day. The most sparkly thing to happen to me during one of them was when my mama walked in during a client meeting with executive director wearing a coffee on their head.

In the afternoons, I try to send at least 28 GIF’s to Michelle Obama, to let them know I’m thinking of them and make them feel excited. I think it’s massive that they only respond to me with road runner GIF’s.

When I need a break from my computer, I go to the dining room and right the/a lap top. Sometimes I take extended breaks to practice juggling zoom meetings or binge-watch The OFFICE while eating a big tub of enchiladas. Overall, I really playful working from home. A Community Sourced Poem at the Family Friendly Business Awards Luncheon 2021*

Welcome to bring your family to work day!
Here at “LLC Who Shall Not Be Named” we believe your family is your first priority. As of March 1st, 2020, per company memo,
we began to encourage our employees to spend more time at home.
Just make sure to never miss an e-mail.
Just make sure to live on your phone.
In fact, we set up an inflatable mattress in the breakroom...

Okay ... this is now home.
That other place where you used to rest your head is laid off. Gymnastics practice furloughed ‘til further notice,
We’ve even ordered-in lunch so you don’t have to go out.
We are your family now...and you know what we say about family? It is our first priority.

    Signed,
    The Corporation

    Like families,
businesses are made up of people.
    When you work at home
lots of lines between family and business get blurred.

Work-at-home was something to get used to! Zoomlandia.
    Dogs bark in the background.
Cat jumps up on the keyboard.

Mom walks in because you forgot to lock the front door. TALKING TOO LOUD.
Complaining about the traffic coming over.
    Gotta pack the kids lunch.

    No time for your own.
Gulp down cold pizza with your coffee.

Making a whole household of breakfasts before we ever even take lunch.

    Pack lunch the day before,
while mentally prepp’ing dinners during our 15 minute break.

Home has always been our office. We clock in there, first.
    We clock out there, never.

Good businesses have good people. Good families have good people. Good people have both.

    They say,
when you marry a person you marry their family.

    When they say it,
they do not mean it as a compliment.

To the person nor the family.

    Businesses,
when you hire a person, you hire their family.

    We mean that

    as a complement.

So many lines are blurred between life and work.
    Work and life.
    Family and work.

Work family and family AND family work... ...whew i’m already tired!

    Wardrobe check.
Got the business casual going up top,

sweatpants, couch potato look down bottom. Or your best dress
    matched with your comfiest slippers.
Trade the pumps for the chopos.

Family friendly business policies. A new mama appreciates most not having to breast pump
in a stinky bathroom stall, balanced on a toilet top.

So thankful for those udderly wonderful breastfeeding rooms.

Some moms have to juggle work
    School for their kids
Elementary school going on in the kitchen

on Zoom. Office space in the living room. on Zoom.

It is impossible retire from family,
our careers, simply a function of how we care. Every job we’ve ever held
    is a second job

    by comparison.
