Family Friendly New Mexico views the economic success and health of businesses and families as interdependent, woven together by our unique culture, talent and resilience. Families are the foundation of many small businesses and in order to thrive, we must prioritize the health of our most valuable asset – our people.

We know New Mexicans share our mission: to support businesses, employees and their families to thrive. And in order to realize this mission, we must ground ourselves in the basic values that have allowed us to be the very best version of humanity in times of crisis. These values, when expressed as courage and compassion, are the engine that moves us toward a future where all workers are able to integrate work and life, have the time and capacity to care for their children and families, have access to good jobs and are able to contribute to their communities.

In order for businesses and families to survive and thrive, Family Friendly New Mexico is calling on New Mexicans to stay home this Thanksgiving and avoid gathering with people you don’t live with. This means connecting and giving thanks in a different way, not cancelling it altogether. This is an extremely difficult time for employees being laid off and employers losing revenue and making tough decisions. Family Friendly New Mexico is here to support your business to find solutions to your workforce challenges.
